Help with Philips Hue

As soon as you have assigned one or more lamps to a room, you can select the room lighting control under "Add favorites" on your favorites screen. This allows you to switch all lamps in a room on and off.

First install the Philips Hue Bridge using the Philips Hue app and then all the lamps that you want to integrate into your smart home network. You can find the app in the corresponding app store.

Then open the Bosch Smart Home app and select "Add" and "New device". Under "Manual" you will find the Philips Hue Bridge. The app will then guide you through the simple connection process.

Please follow the steps below:

1. make sure that the lamps are always supplied with power. If you switch the lamps off with your light switch, you can no longer switch them on with your app as the power supply is interrupted.

2. check whether you can still control the lamps with the Hue app. If not, reconnect them. If the problem persists, please contact theSupport from Philips.

3. if you can control the lamps with the Hue app, please check whether your Smart Home controller and the Philips Bridge are connected to the same Wi-Fi router. If necessary, delete the Philips Hue Bridge from the device list and connect it again.

Make sure that you have already successfully integrated the lamp using the Philips Hue app. You can then add the lamp to your "My Home" under "Add device" >> "Add new device" >> "Manual" >> "Philips Hue lamps". Make sure that the lamp is supplied with power.

Always connect new lamps to your Hue Bridge first using your Philips Hue app. You can then find the lamps under "Already installed devices".

Yes, this is possible. 50 lamps can be controlled per bridge. Which lamp is connected to which bridge is irrelevant for the Bosch Smart Home system.

To integrate new lamps into your Philips Hue system or your Bosch Smart Home system, you need the Philips Hue app. After successful integration into the Philips Hue app, you can then easily integrate the new lamps into your Bosch Smart Home system.

As soon as you have assigned several lamps to a room, you can control them using the so-called room lighting control. You can then save the automatically stored room lighting control in your favorites via "+" and switch all the lamps in the room together with one click.

You can use the Bosch Smart Home app to control the basic functions of Philips Hue. This currently includes switching on and off, color selection and dimming the light intensity.

Special lighting functions will still only be selectable with the Philips Hue app. To be able to select these, it is possible to jump directly from the Smart Home app to the Philips Hue app at defined points.

The following Hue devices cannot be integrated: Hue switches, Hue Taps, Hue Motion detectors etc. as well as switches, plugs, Motion detectors etc. from third-party providers.

In the event of a smoke alarm, the Philips Hue lamps light up as follows:

• Philips Hue Color lamps: the lamps switch to the color yellow and light up permanently. The color can also be perceived as green-yellow or green, depending on the color perception and environment.
• Philips Hue White bulbs: Switch on at 20% of their possible brightness and light up permanently.
