My Ledvance product is defective. What can I do (warranty)?
You can fill out a warranty claim form on the Ledvance website. Select "Complaint form for private customers" and fill in the required fields. You will find the replacement applicationshere.
How can I integrate my Ledvance product into my Bosch Smart Home system (requirements, installation)?
If you have a compatible Ledvance product, please proceed as follows:
1. open the Bosch Smart Home app.
2. open the "Devices" item
3. add a new device using the "+".
4. open the "Smart lamp" item.
5. now follow the instructions in the app.

Can I also control my Ledvance products via the Universal switch or the Twist (requirements, automations)?
You can switch your Ledvance products on and off and trigger scenarios via the Bosch Smart Home Twist or the Bosch Smart Home Universal switch.
Which Ledvance products can I integrate into the Bosch Smart Home system (requirements, installation)?
You can integrate the majority of all Ledvance products from the Smart+ family into the Bosch Smart Home system. The prerequisite is that the devices operate on the ZigBee 3.0 radio protocol. You do not need an additional controller or bridge to integrate Ledvance products. The integration runs via the Bosch Smart Home controller. You can find a detailed list of all compatible products herehere.
What functions are available to me after integrating my Ledvance products (information, services)?
Once you have integrated the Ledvance products into your Bosch Smart Home system, you can integrate the Ledvance products into scenarios, automations and other services such as presence simulation, the alarm system and motion light.
Do I have the option of controlling my LEDVANCE luminaires via voice assistants (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Siri)?
Smart lights from LEDVANCE that are integrated into the Bosch Smart Home system can also be controlled via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
The user can create and control scenarios/routines within the partners (Alexa/Google) to switch the LEDVANCE Smart light on/off, adjust the brightness, color temperature and color.
Voice control for Ledvance products via Apple Homekit or Siri is currently not possible.
How do my Ledvance products behave in the event of a burglary, smoke or water alarm (information, alarm system)?
In the event of a burglar alarm, Ledvance lamps, which are capable of reproducing colored light, flash red. In the event of a smoke alarm, the Ledvance lamps light up yellow. In the event of a water alarm, they light up blue.
What can I do if my compatible Ledvance products do not display the correct color configuration that I have selected in my Bosch Smart Home app (settings, installation)?
Please check first whether the selected products are able to display the desired color.
Ledvance products with the label"Dimmable"can change brightness, Ledvance products with the label"Tunable White"can also set different color temperatures and Ledvance products with the addition"Multicolor"additionally set RGBW.
How can I reset my Ledvance products to the factory settings (dimmable products, Dimmer)?
To reset dimmable Ledvance products to the factory settings, switch the lamps ON five times in succession for five seconds and OFF for five seconds. After switching on again, the lamp dims up and down three times to confirm and can then be integrated into a compatible smart home system again.
What can I do if my Ledvance products cannot be reached (connection, range, installation)?
1. check that the compatible Ledvance products have a functioning power supply and are switched on. If necessary, use Ledvance products with the Bosch Smart Home flush-mounted Light control. Check that this is switched on. The Ledvance product can only receive commands when the power is switched on.
2. if a power supply is present, disconnect the affected Ledvance product from the power supply for 30 seconds. Then restore the power supply. It may take up to three minutes for the Ledvance product to reconnect to the Bosch Smart Home system.
Can I operate my integrated Ledvance lamps using a normal light switch (settings, mounting, installation)?
Yes, it is possible to operate compatible Ledvance products using a light switch. However, it is not possible to switch on the Ledvance lamps via the Bosch Smart Home app if the light switch is set to "Off".
How do compatible Ledvance products react to a power failure (information)?
Even though power failures are relatively rare in Central Europe, precautions have been taken at this point. As soon as the power supply is restored after a power failure, the Ledvance products are reset to their default settings.
How can I reset my Ledvance products to the factory settings (RGBW products, products with color output)?
To reset Ledvance products that have the addition RGBW in their product description, i.e. lamps that can also display colors, please proceed as follows:
Switch the Ledvance product on for five seconds and off for five seconds five times in succession. After switching on again, the lamp flashes blue, green and red to confirm and can then be integrated into the Bosch Smart Home system again.
What is the basic setting of compatible Ledvance devices (settings, information, installation)?
The basic setting of compatible Ledvance products is the same as the last used setting of the respective lamps, which includes brightness, color and color temperature. To save the last setting used, the lamp must be switched on for 30 seconds in the respective setting.
When installing my Ledvance lamp, I am asked to scan a QR code. However, there is no QR code on my lamp. What should I do?
In individual cases, there are no QR codes on compatible Ledvance Smart+ devices. In this case, please fill out the complaint form on the Ledvance website. You will then receive a replacement promptly. You will find the replacement requestshere.
I have Ledvance Zigbee Light Link lamps. Can I integrate these into my Bosch Smart Home system (requirements, information)?
No. Only selected ZigBee 3.0 devices from Ledvance are compatible with our Bosch Smart Home System. You can find all compatible deviceshere.
Can I use my Ledvance products to extend the range of my Bosch Smart Home products (connection, mounting, installation)?
Yes, you can use Ledvance products to extend the signal of Bosch Smart Home products as long as they transmit on ZigBee 3.0. These are currently the Motion detector, the Twist, the Bosch Smart Home Twinguard and the Outdoor siren. Please note: A range extension is only possible as long as the Ledvance products are not de-energized (e.g. by switching off the light switch).
Can I dim my integrated Ledvance lamps using a conventional Dimmer (requirements)?
No, unfortunately it is not possible to dim compatible Ledvance products using a conventional Dimmer. The Bosch Smart Home app is required to change the brightness of the lamps.
How can I reset my Ledvance products to the factory settings (Tunable White products)?
To reset Tunable White Ledvance products to the factory settings, switch the lamps ON five times in succession for five seconds and OFF for five seconds. After switching on again, the lamp flashes cold white and warm white twice to confirm and can then be integrated into a compatible smart home system again.
Overview of compatible lamps & lights
Below we offer you an overview of the lamps and lights that you can connect directly to the Bosch Smart Home system via the Bosch Smart Home app without the need for any additional devices, such as a bridge or hub. Please note that the Bosch Smart Home controller can only communicate with ZigBee devices. For reasons of security, the Bosch Smart Home system also only supports ZigBee 3.0 devices.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Ledvance uses the new ZigBee 3.0 standard in the development and production of all new devices. Production has gradually moved to the new standard over the last few months.#
- This means that you will still find remaining stocks of discontinued models on sale. You will also find products with current packaging but which do not have a QR code printed on them.
- Therefore, when making a purchase, make sure that you only choose products from the following list of compatible devices. Unfortunately, you may still find that you receive a device without a QR code.
If this is the case, contact Ledvance support at www.ledvance.de/reklamation to find out how to exchange the device for one with a QR code.
