Why is Google missing in the Smart Home app in my external connections (voice control, settings, access app)?
If a Smart Home controller is reset to the factory settings or if a new controller that has never been programmed is started (initial setup after purchase), the controller retrieves the status of the activation of the Google function (active or inactive). At this point, however, you as the user have not yet accepted the General Terms and Conditions in the Smart Home app. Therefore, the Google option is not yet displayed in the Smart Home app.
The controller collects the status every 24 hours and displays it the next time it is called up (because by then you should have already accepted the General Terms and Conditions, i.e. have set up your system).
So please wait a maximum of 24 hours. Please contact ourCustomer serviceif there is still no change after this waiting time has elapsed.
Google Assistant responds with "Sorry I did not get any response". What does that mean (voice control)?
Currently there is still a bug on the part of Google which manifests itself as follows:
Voice commands that refer to rooms with a German name, e.g. "Ok Google, switch on living room", are executed (e.g. Smart plug is switched on), but the Google Assistant responds with "Sorry I did not get any response".
The following voice commands work without any problems:
Voice commands that refer to rooms with an English name, even if they are in German, e.g. "Ok Google, switch on kitchen", are executed and confirmed with the correct response.
Voice commands that refer to the names of the devices (without naming a room), regardless of whether they are in German or English, e.g. "Ok Google, turn on the stereo", are executed and confirmed with the correct response.
Affected smart home components:
- Smart plug
- Flush-mounted Light control
Unfortunately, we cannot fix this problem ourselves. Google has been informed and asked to fix this problem.
