Software Update Information

NEW FUNCTIONS

• Favorites
  Automations and states can now be added to favorites.
  Automations can be triggered manually, just like scenarios. Existing conditions are ignored.
  Statuses are thus also accessible to users with restricted access rights.

• Android Auto
  You can now also trigger automations manually and switch states via the screen of an Android Auto-compatible vehicle.

• Timer for the room temperature
  The room temperature can be changed for a specific time using a timer in the app. After the set duration, the temperature returns to the old value, or the paused schedule becomes active again.

• Timer for Smart Plugs, Relays, and Light Control
  The devices can be switched on for a specific time using a timer in the app. After the set duration, the devices switch off again, or the paused schedule becomes active again.

IMPROVEMENTS

• Light control, Light/Shutter Control II used as a Light Control, Relay (in "on/off" mode), Smart Plug, Smart Plug Compact
  The devices can be switched on and off directly via the respective tile in the favorites.
  In the case of smart plugs and light controls, the current power consumption is also displayed on the tile.

• Android App
  The connection via another Wi-Fi is now established noticeably faster.

• Radiator Thermostat II
  A message is now displayed in the event of a motor defect with the Radiator Thermostat II.

• New Firmware
  New firmware, which closes a possible security gap, is available for the Dimmer, Relay, and Smart Plug Compact devices.

• Matter/Smart Home Controller II
  After activating the Matter function, you can now read the pairing code even after closing and reopening the app, provided it is still valid (10 min).

• General
  Latest security updates for the Smart Home Controller/Smart Home Controller II and the Bosch Smart Home App.

Bug Fixes

• Yale Linus® Smart Lock
  • A bug that prevented the Yale Linus Smart Lock from being unlocked with a certain configuration has been resolved.

• Service: Temperature Fall
  • In rare cases, the standard value was not transferred if it had been defined previously in another room.

• Matter/Smart Home Controller II
  • The dimmer did not take on a changed brightness if the device was off at the time. This issue has been resolved.
  • The humidity values (room thermostat) between the system and Matter were different. This issue has been resolved.

• Data migration from the Bosch Smart Home controller to the Bosch Smart Home Controller II
  • In certain circumstances, the data migration from the Bosch Smart Home controller to the Bosch Smart Home Controller II could not be completed. This issue has been resolved.

• iOS app
  • Layout issue when setting a time window for the room temperature has been resolved.

• Android app
  • Automations: Design improvements when configuring the action for the room climate.

• Texts
  • The description text when using the room temperature in a scenario has been revised.
  • Temperature fall service: The description text is now displayed permanently.
  • Smart plug compact: Description text of the 'Standard' profile adapted.

• Fixing common causes of crashes

• New functions and certain improvementsandBug fixes are only available after the controller and app updates have been installed. Please note that the app update will be released later and in phases.
• Optional Bluetooth® access permissions for the app (preparation for future device pairing options).
