IMPROVEMENTS

• Room temperature display
  • In the room temperature setting, the system now automatically displays the time at which it will switch to the next scheduled target temperature. It also displays how long boost mode will remain active once started.

• Change of ZigBee radio channel
  • The radio channel of the ZigBee network can now be changed in the system settings. This can be helpful if the connection to ZigBee devices is unstable on the current channel due to radio interference.

BUG FIXES

• Universal switch II
  • In rare cases, problems occurred when saving more than one button assignment. This issue has been resolved.

• Smart plug compact
  • An incorrect message description was displayed when setting the purpose of use to “lamp”. This issue has been resolved.

• Radiator thermostat II
  • An incorrect message description was displayed during calibration. This issue has been resolved.

• Radiator thermostat, radiator thermostat II
  • The maximum number of time programs for the room temperature is now maintained in all cases.

• Light/shutter control II (used as shutter control)
  • The configuration wizard for the light/shutter control II (used as a shutter control) has been improved.

• Light/shutter control II (used as shutter control) / in-wall shutter control
  • In rare cases, an incorrect shutter height was displayed in the case of a manual interruption on the switch. This issue has been resolved.

• “Motion light” service
  • In rare cases, the sensitivity setting could not be saved. This issue has been resolved.

• Android app
  • The app startup process has been shortened. Scrolling in your favourites is now faster while data is being loaded.
  • In rare cases, switching a lamp in the “Healthy room air” service resulted in all other lamps being deactivated. This issue has been resolved.
  • In the automations, an incorrect formulation was used when setting an action with a relay. This issue has been resolved.
  • A problem has been rectified which caused “Low” to be displayed on the room climate tile instead of “High” when boost mode was activated for this room.

• iOS app
  • The loading time of the favourites screen has been improved.
  • A problem could occur if previously deleted cameras were subsequently to be removed from scenarios. This issue has been resolved.
  • In rare cases, the app would crash if your favourites or a room overview screen contained a shutter control. This issue has been resolved.
  • When using the app on an iPad, a problem could occur when deactivating a lamp via the slider. This issue has been resolved.
  • In the event of a failed coupling process, a message is now displayed if the radiator thermostat II is not found.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Android app - system requirements
  • As of this release, Android 8 is required for the Bosch Smart Home app. You will, however, be able to continue using the app that has already been installed (except for activating the Smart Home Cloud).

• Bosch Smart Home Cloud - announcement
  • With the release (10.21) scheduled for May 2024, technical modifications will take place in the backend of the Smart Home Cloud. If you use partners via the Bosch Smart Home Cloud (Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Mercedes MBUX), you must update to this release (10.21). We anticipate that from the end of June, it will no longer be possible to use the Smart Home Cloud for the Bosch Smart Home controller and Bosch Smart Home controller II with a software version lower than 10.21.

• General
  • Update of various open source libraries.
  • Some functions and certain improvements and bug fixes will only be available after you have installed the controller update and app update.

• The update for the iOS Smart Home app is expected to be issued from 2 April 2024 as an automatic app update.
