NEW FUNCTIONS

Radiator thermostat, radiator thermostat II, room thermostat, room thermostat II, underfloor heating room thermostat: It’s now easier to adjust the time programs for your room temperature to suit your individual needs even better. The new operating concept allows you to store more than 2 different temperatures in the time program. Time windows can now be set more precisely and you can also copy the programs to other rooms. Different schedules can also be created for each room, and you can switch between them with just a few clicks.

IMPROVEMENTS

Room thermostat II: New firmware (0.2.6) is available for the room thermostat II which contains various bug fixes:
- Bug fixes:
  - Storage problems on the device after writing around 60 different time programs. This leads to supposedly planned changes being ignored and unplanned target value changes occurring.
  - After a battery change, the device was automatically started in manual mode, even if a time program had been defined previously. This has been rectified.
- Small bug fixes:
  - Improvement of the LED behaviour during a manual target value change.
  - The notification “Battery low” will be displayed a little later in the future (from a value of below 4.8 V instead of below 5.0 V)
Universal switch: The configuration in the app for assigning the universal switch buttons has been updated. New options such as favourite positions for shutters or the possibility of various combinations of devices, scenarios and services can now also be assigned.
Android app
- The Android app can now also be used in portrait mode on tablets and foldables.
- In portrait mode, the apps now have a larger title bar on the home screen to make it easier to access the uppermost elements.

BUG FIXES

Fixing of common causes of crashes.
Light/shutter control II used as shutter control: The movement of the shutters/blinds could fall out of synchronisation with the app status relatively quickly. The changing of the angle of the blind was particularly affected by this error. For the bug fix to be effective, the automatic calibration of all shutter control II devices must be carried out again.

MORE INFORMATION

Bosch ID was renamed to SingleKey ID – information about this was sent to all users via email from the Bosch ID team.
From now on, safety instructions can be accessed via “More” -> “Legal” -> “Safety instructions”.
The languages Polish, Slovakian and Czech are available.
Update of various open source libraries.
Some functions and certain improvements and bug fixes are only available once the controller update and app update have been installed.
