Bosch Smart Home app

NEW FUNCTIONS

• New devices for Apple HomeKit:
  The Apple HomeKit and Bosch Smart Home family is growing. The smart plug compact and the smoke alarm II can now also be integrated into Apple HomeKit. This enables combination with additional HomeKit-compatible devices from other manufacturers.
• Automations:
  Your smart Home Connect washing machine, dryer and dishwasher from Bosch, Siemens and Gaggenau can now be started via automations (as a “then” action). This means that it is now possible to start the machine at a specific time, or as soon as the front door falls into the smart lock when you leave the house.

IMPROVEMENTS

• Use of the Bosch ID:
  The Bosch ID which was used to integrate the Bosch Smart Cameras into the into the Bosch Smart Home system and activate the Smart Home Cloud is now shown in the Bosch Smart Home app under “More → Partners”. The Bosch ID is shown directly under the partners.

BUG FIXES

• The latest security updates for your Smart Home controller and the apps.
• Update of various open source libraries.
• Fixing of the most common causes of crashes.

MORE INFORMATION

• The Terms of Use and Privacy Statement are now available in PDF form on our website. The PDF can be accessed from the app via a direct link.
• Some functions and certain improvements and bug fixes are only available once the controller update and app update have been installed.

Smart Home controller

The following versions of the Smart Home controller are issued:

• 10.9.2553-25775

Notes on availability:

• The update for the Smart Home controller will be issued from 11 July 2022 .
• The update for the Smart Home controller is expected to be available to all customers from 19 July 2022 .

Smart Home android app

The following version of the Smart Home android app is issued:

• 10.9.2553

Notes on availability:

• The update for the android Smart Home app is expected to be issued from 20 July 2022 .
• The update for the android Smart Home app is expected to be issued to all customers from 27 July 2022 .

Smart Home iOS app

The following version of the Smart Home iOS app is issued:

• 10.9.0 (9136)

Notes on availability:

• The update for the iOS Smart Home app is expected to be issued from 20 July 2022 as an automatic app update.
• The update for the iOS Smart Home app is expected to be issued to all customers from 20 July 2022 as a manual update.
• The update for the iOS Smart Home app will be available to all customers from 27 July 2022 as an automatic app update.
