NEW FUNCTIONS
- Introduction of a specific red/yellow flashing pattern of the status LED for the indoor camera II. This flashing pattern indicates that a firmware update was not successful.
- The automatic and manual alarms of indoor camera II are now limited to a maximum of 180 seconds.
- Introduction of various default values, such as "camera status LED off" for cameras that are reconfigured with firmware 8.81.21 or higher.
- For an indoor camera II integrated into the Bosch Smart Home system, the motion detection works within defined automations even when the camera is turned off.
IMPROVEMENTS/BUG FIXES
- Newly configured indoor camera IIs are now listed under their SSID names in the router settings to make it easier for cameras to be identified on the router. You will find the SSID name of your indoor camera II on the bottom of the camera base.
- Improvement of the overall network stability.
- Increased sensitivity of noise detection for audio occurrences. This makes it easier to make adjustments to the threshold value, especially in the lower volume range.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- The update includes new and optimised functions and bug fixes for an even better experience with the Bosch Smart Camera app and the cameras.
- Smart Camera app versions older than version 2.4.0 will no longer be supported from 11 June 2024.

SMART CAMERA ANDROID APP
The following version of the Bosch Smart Camera Android app is due to be released:
- 2.5.0

- The update for the Bosch Smart Camera Android app will be released on 3 June 2024 .
- The update for the Bosch Smart Camera Android app will be available to all customers from 10 June 2024 .
- This update is provided only for devices running Android 8.0 or higher.
SMART CAMERA iOS APP
The following version of the Bosch Smart Camera iOS app is due to be released:
- 2.5.0
Notes on availability:
- The update for the Bosch Smart Camera iOS app will be released on 3 June 2024 as an automatic app update.
- The update for the Bosch Smart Camera iOS app will be available to all customers from 3 June 2024 as a manual update.
- The update for the Bosch Smart Camera iOS app will be available to all customers from 10 June 2024 as an automatic app update.
- This update is provided only for devices running iOS 14.0 or higher.
