At home, it warns you with a loud siren. It also forwards the alarm to all other smoke alarms in the network via the Bosch Smart Home controller, which means that the alarm can be heard from anywhere in the house.
Your Bosch Smart Home app also warns you of the danger via push notification – including information on which room has triggered the alarm. This means that you are also notified when you’re away from home – and can call the fire brigade straight away via the emergency call button on the app screen.

Pre-configured services such as the smart fire safety alarm system optimise the interactions and make your Smart Home even safer and more comfortable.

Prevents false alarms and has a long lifespan

Say farewell to false alarms – the Bosch Smart Home smoke alarm has a dust compensation feature which constantly adapts the alarm threshold to the degree of soiling of the smoke chamber. This minimises false alarms caused by dust.

The replaceable 3-volt lithium battery* with a lifespan of up to 5 years (depending on use in the system) keeps the required maintenance to a minimum.

Pro tip: To ensure optimal function, you must replace your smoke alarm after 10 years at the latest.

*Only use the batteries which are recommended in the technical data.

Your Bosch Smart Home smoke alarm is an important part of your smart alarm system:

If smoke develops, it is the crucial trigger. As soon as it detects smoke and sounds the alarm, smart cameras, shutters and lights are activated automatically to provide an overview of the situation, open up escape routes and illuminate your exit.
In a break-in, the smoke alarm siren is triggered as soon as motion detectors or door/window contacts detect danger – causing unwanted guests to quickly take flight.

The alarm system is one of many pre-set services . Your smoke alarm is therefore automatically added to your alarm system.

All you need to do is activate the service, and you can add custom settings to define whether and which smoke alarm sirens should sound in a break-in.

Call the fire brigade – directly from the app

When there’s a fire, every second counts. The Bosch Smart Home app helps you to save valuable time when calling for emergency assistance.

No matter whether you’re at home or out and about. When your smoke alarms sound, you immediately receive an immediate push notification on your smartphone.

A quick glance at the alarm screen will show you which room is affected by the danger – you can even see exactly what’s going on thanks to the live feeds from your smart camera.

All you need to do is tap the emergency call button to alert the local fire brigade.

Quick, easy, with step-by-step explanations – the instructions in your app gently guide you through the installation of your Bosch Smart Home smoke alarm:

Open your Bosch Smart Home app. In the main menu, tap “Device management” and then “Add new device”.
To configure, scan the QR code on the base of the smoke alarm or add it manually as described in the app.
The app then takes you through the signal strength test, mounting, function test and room assignment of your smoke alarm.
