It’s this simple to connect your Bosch Smart Home with Home Connect
To connect your Bosch, Siemens and Gaggenau household appliances to the Bosch Smart Home system, first make sure that your household appliances are already connected to your Home Connect account.
- 1. Once your household appliances are connected with the Home Connect app, open the Bosch Smart Home app.
- 2. Open the option “More” > System”. Then, activate the remote access function under “Remote access”.
- 3. Then, go one step back and select “More > Partners”. Select “Home Connect”.
- 4. Click on “Link account” and log in using your Home Connect information.
Your household appliances should now have been transferred into the Bosch Smart Home app. If this is not the case, you can add the corresponding appliances to the Smart Home app under “Management” -> “Devices” -> “Add device” after connecting both apps.
Please also be aware of the following requirements:
- Connect your Bosch, Siemens and Gaggenau household appliance to power.
- Connect your Bosch, Siemens and Gaggenau household appliance with your Wi-Fi.

Let’s put an end to the lazy excuses
You had a long day at work. You have to prepare dinner and pack the dirty dishes into the dishwasher before putting the children to bed. In the meantime, your partner is already getting comfortable on the sofa and, aside from their evening TV programme, they haven’t even noticed that the dishwasher completed its cycle quite a while ago.
“If I had known that the dishwasher was done, I would have emptied it!” Your partner argues.
In a smart household, there are no more lazy excuses like this! Thanks to the integration into the Smart Home system, your smart household appliances trigger specific actions within the house.
For example, you can use a smart plug to make your television switch off once the dishwasher is finished. It’s a bit radical, but absolutely effective.
If you prefer something less drastic, an automatic reminder push notification with personalised text can be set up, and this can be sent directly to your partner’s phone: “ The dishwasher is finished, honey. Thanks for emptying it <3 .”
Or you can send a subtle reminder to your partner by arranging for the integrated Philips Hue or Ledvance lamps to light up in bright colours once the dishwasher is ready to be emptied.

Morning coffee made easy
It’s no secret that getting out of bed early is the perfect start to a productive day. But sometimes it’s still hard to leave your nice warm bed. Wouldn’t it be nice if your coffee could just make itself?
No problem! In your smart household, your coffee machine can start up independently, allowing you to wake up relaxed and enjoy your morning coffee in peace.
You have various options for making your coffee machine start up automatically:
Either set a defined time for your coffee machine to switch on. Or use our scenarios and define certain conditions for your coffee machine to switch on.
For example, in the summer, you can define that your coffee machine should switch on shortly after sunrise. Trigger: If sunrise + 30 minutes – Then action: Coffee machine on.
Perfect timing for fresh laundry
Are you on the move quite a lot and have no time to spend hours at home, waiting on the end of the washing machine programme?
The consequence of this is that the damp laundry is left in the washing machine and becomes musty, meaning that you might have to wash it all again. This is annoying and wastes time and energy.
Wouldn’t it be practical if you could start your washing machine while you’re out?
Your smart household makes this a reality!
Activate the remote access function for your Bosch Smart Home system and integrate your smart washing machine.
Before leaving your house, prepare your laundry and place it in the washing machine drum. Close the door of the washing machine and activate the remote access on your Home Connect device. Once you know when you’ll be arriving home, simply start the washing programme from wherever you are.
This means that your laundry will be ready at just the right time, and you can hang it on the washing line straight away. Easy!
